If your foundation wears off by the time you hit the break room for lunch, fret no more. Hollywood makeup artist Brett Freedman, who has worked with stars like Vanessa Hudgens and Camilla Belle (check out Camilla's beautiful Winter glow makeup look above in main image), is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to everyday styles, especially foundation. Here are two simple tips on how to create a long-wearing base.

1,  Prep the face with an oil-free moisturizer to give the skin a supple, satiny feel.

2,  Apply a cream-to-powder foundation. Brett used Benefit Play Sticks ($34). "I applied while the face was     moist with moisturizer, so once it dried, it would have a touch, more staying power," he explained. Add     powder if needed, and your foundation should last well into the night.
